  1. Delivery Area (UK Only)

At this time, Beads & Butterflies only accepts orders and delivers to addresses within the United Kingdom. We do not offer international shipping outside of the UK.


  1. Dispatch & Delivery Timescales

Because my shop features both ready-to-ship stock and customized items, delivery times vary depending on the product type you are buying:

  • Ready-Made Items: These are pre-made, standard items listed in our shop. Once payment is confirmed, these items are packaged and dispatched within 3 to 5 business days by your selected postage method.
  • Bespoke / Customised Items: These are items made to order, personalized, or created to your custom specifications. Because each piece is handmade and may require us to source specific beads, charms, or other materials, please allow a shipping timeframe of 7 to 21 days for bespoke orders. I will message you via the platform to confirm the estimated timeframe once your design is finalised.

If you need an item more urgently than the times given above, please message me and I will do my best to meet your request. 

Please note: "Business days" and "days" refer to Monday through Friday, excluding UK bank holidays.


  1. Combined Orders

If your order contains a mix of both ready-made and bespoke items, the entire order will be held and shipped together once the bespoke piece is completed. If you would like your ready-made items to arrive sooner, please purchase them in a separate transaction.


  1. Shipping Methods & Tracking

All parcels are sent via Royal Mail. Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a notification email via your Maker Britain buyer account, along with tracking details if relevant.


  1. Delivery Address Responsibilities

Please ensure your shipping address is correct at the checkout. In accordance with the Maker Britain Buyer Terms, I can only ship to the delivery address provided at the time of purchase and cannot be held responsible for missing parcels due to an incorrectly entered address. If you would like your item shipping to another recipient, please enter this address at checkout. If you require a personal note to be sent to the recipient along with your purchase, please send me a message with your chosen wording straight after making your purchase and I will be more than happy to arrange this for you.

Refund Policy

Beads & Butterflies Shop Returns Policy

Thank you for supporting our handmade business! I want you to love your purchases, but if you change your mind or if something isn't right, you can return your items in accordance with the guidelines below.

As a seller on Maker Britain, this policy strictly aligns with UK Consumer Contracts Regulations.


  1. Ready-Made vs. Bespoke Items
  • Ready-Made Items: Standard items purchased directly from my shop qualify for our standard 14-day change-of-mind return window.
  • Bespoke / Customised Items: Any bespoke items made to order or created to your custom design specifications are non-refundable and exempt from change-of-mind returns. Once production begins on a bespoke piece, the order cannot be cancelled or refunded.


  1. Change of Mind Returns (Ready-Made Only)

For standard, pre-made items, you have the legal right to change your mind and cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your items.

  • Condition: Items must be returned unused, unworn, and in their original, undamaged packaging.
  • Hygiene Exclusions: For hygiene reasons, earrings cannot be returned or refunded under any circumstances unless they arrive faulty.


  1. Faulty or Damaged Goods (Applies to All Items)

We take great pride in the quality of our handmade items. If any item—including bespoke or customized pieces—arrives broken, faulty, or not as described, you have a statutory 30-day right to reject the item for a full refund or replacement under the UK Consumer Rights Act.

Please contact  me immediately through the platform and include a clear photo of the fault so I can resolve this quickly for you.


  1. How to Start a Return
  1. Log into your account and contact us directly through the Maker Britain messaging system to request a return.
  2. I will provide you with the return shipping address.
  3. Pack your items securely to prevent damage in transit. I highly recommend using a tracked shipping service, as I cannot issue a refund if the package is lost by the courier.


  1. Shipping Cost Responsibility
  • Change of Mind Returns: The buyer is responsible for all shipping costs. Outbound shipping fees paid on your original order are strictly non-refundable, and the cost of returning the item to us must be covered by the buyer.
  • Faulty/Damaged Items: If an item is defective, I will cover the return postage costs or supply a prepaid shipping label, and your original outbound shipping fee will be refunded in full.


  1. Refunds & Processing Times

Once I receive and inspect your returned items, I will confirm whether I am able to offer you a refund.

  • Approved refunds will be processed via secure payment partners directly back to your original payment method.
  • Please allow 5 to 10 business days for the funds to clear into your bank account.
